Bought & started The Warrior's Apprentice with high expectations today. I'm loving it so far!

Currently taking a quick diversion from Vorkosigan and reading CALLAHAN'S CROSSTIME SALOON by Spider Robinson. It's a collection of short stories about a strange bar in (I think) New York with strange customs and even stranger customers. I'm about halfway through and it's quite fun if you want low stakes and low key science fiction.

FRAMLEY PARSONAGE by Anthony Trollope. Book four in the Barchester Chronicles. Victorian lit, Trollope is rather entertaining but if you don't like small English villages and people in them who squabble over little things it's not for you. I'm having some trouble with it myself (although this morning it started to get juicy!). It's actually got a connection to fantasy – Jo Walton's TOOTH AND CLAW is heavily based on it. Apparently the plot is basically the same except everyone's a dragon. Yeah. It was good, in case you were wondering.

Really keep meaning to read Vorkosigan, but currently I'm reading Archivist Wasp by Nicole Kornher-Stace, Reflections (Indexing #2) by Seanan McGuire (which was a really fun 'release a chapter every two weeks' thing, I love serial novels!), and then a few other books for book judging that I'm involved in (Aurealis Awards) that are also excellent, but I can't discuss until after March.

SORCERER TO THE CROWN by Zen Cho and it's so up my alley it's ridiculous! <3 I'm loving it! (Also read THORN OF GLASS by Sarah J Maas and found it better than a lot of other YA I've read recently)

Ahhh I'm in a bit of a book limbo right now. Or rather, I'm between books. So currently I'm re-reading Neil Gaiman's Neverwhere since I picked up the short story, How The Marquis Got His Coat Back. After that I'll get my backside to the bookshop to stock up!
