Why not have a thread that just have snippets of what you're reading, and what your quick thoughts on them are?
I'm actually in the middle of re-reading my favorite of the Vorkosigan novels, Memory. There's just something about middle age crisis Miles that I find endearing. Plus there's a ton of Ivan, which is also always welcome.

More books about suburbanization. It will all be over soon though, December can't get here fast enough!

I'm currently reading the Foundation Series. I really liked the part where a war was avoided because the nuclear stoves didn't work anymore and the women couldn't cook. Also, everyone is smoking all the time, radiation is mostly ignored and math is the solution to everything. 10/10 just like in real life.

Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo
About a third of the way through, fantasy heist sort of vibes. Something nobody here is fond of right?? It's good so far! I liked her other series well enough so this was a sort of easy choice in the grand scheme of things. Working in a bookshop makes choosing books hella hard. D:

I'm working my way through Wheel Of Time, mostly to see what all the fuss is about. It's...alright. Plenty of hair-raising gender politics, yikes. Currently bogged down in the middle of book 5, so I think I've reached my saturation point for the time being?? All the Vorkosigan talk above makes me want to go back to that series, actually...

I'm currently reading a Korean novel by LEE Hye-Kyoung, "A House on the Road", which is very fascinating tale about a Korean family in the 70s/80s. I picked up the book at a book sale so I had no idea what I would expect.

I'm currently reading The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath. Not fantasy, but I'm trying to branch out. But shout out to the person reading the Temeraire series by Novik. It is so awesome.

I'm rereading Georgette Heyer's False Colours, where the hero, Kit, is pretending to be his missing twin brother Evelyn to meet Evelyn's fiancee's family. It's funny.
